Bruce McElroy was raised in a musical family, where instruments and impromptu jam sessions were a part of daily life. He started out on banjo, piano, and drums, but it wasn't long before guitar and vocals became his true calling. Influenced early on by the country music of his upbringing, Bruce’s musical tastes took a heavier turn in his teens with bands like Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath capturing his attention. Over the years, his love for music deepened and his guitar skills evolved with impressive range and power.
For the past five years, Bruce has been delivering his outstanding Billy Gibbons vibe, and he’s really good at it. His tone, stage presence, and vocal delivery are spot-on, making him the centre piece of the ZZ Top tribute. Bruce brings both authenticity and fire to every performance, capturing the spirit of the Reverend Willie G. with style.

Brian Risk is a seasoned and versatile musician known for his dynamic performances and rock-solid presence as Dusty Hill. For the past two years, Brian has been laying down and developing the low end and soulful vocals as Dusty, bringing authentic groove and grit to the stage.
With a long-standing career in professional music, Brian has performed across Canada at theatres, festivals, and major corporate events. His resume includes standout roles in The Rolling Stones Tribute Band, The UK Invasion Tribute Band, and Heart of Gold – A Tribute to Neil Young, as well as a wide range of musical theatre productions and rock/country cover bands.
While bass is his main axe for "This Little Ole Band", Brian is a true multi-instrumentalist—proficient in rhythm and lead guitar, keyboards, harmonica, and drums. His depth of experience and musicality are key to capturing the spirit and swagger of ZZ Top's legendary sound.
Wade brings over 30 years of stage experience to That Little Ole Band, channeling the unmistakable groove and blues-driven feel of ZZ Top’s legendary drummer, Frank Beard. Having performed with a long list of cover and tribute acts, Wade has perfected the art of driving a band with rock-solid time, Texas shuffle swagger, and just the right touch of showmanship. Behind the kit, he’s the steady heartbeat that keeps the crowd moving and the band firing on all cylinders.
