Bruce McElroy was raised in a musical family, where instruments and impromptu jam sessions were a part of daily life. He started out on banjo, piano, and drums, but it wasn't long before guitar and vocals became his true calling. Influenced early on by the country music of his upbringing, Bruce’s musical tastes took a heavier turn in his teens with bands like Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath capturing his attention. Over the years, his love for music deepened and his guitar skills evolved with impressive range and power.
For the past five years, Bruce has been delivering his outstanding Billy Gibbons vibe, and he’s really good at it. His tone, stage presence, and vocal delivery are spot-on, making him the centre piece of the ZZ Top tribute. Bruce brings both authenticity and fire to every performance, capturing the spirit of the Reverend Willie G. with style.
Brian Risk is a seasoned and versatile musician known for his dynamic performances and rock-solid presence as Dusty Hill. For the past two years, Brian has been laying down and developing the low end and soulful vocals as Dusty, bringing authentic groove and grit to the stage.
With a long-standing career in professional music, Brian has performed across Canada at theatres, festivals, and major corporate events. His resume includes standout roles in The Rolling Stones Tribute Band, The UK Invasion Tribute Band, and Heart of Gold – A Tribute to Neil Young, as well as a wide range of musical theatre productions and rock/country cover bands.
While bass is his main axe for "This Little Ole Band", Brian is a true multi-instrumentalist—proficient in rhythm and lead guitar, keyboards, harmonica, and drums. His depth of experience and musicality are key to capturing the spirit and swagger of ZZ Top's legendary sound.
Rob Graham brings the heartbeat to "This Little Ole Band", holding it down behind the kit with style, precision, and that unmistakable Texas groove. With a background in competitive sports, Rob knows all about timing, discipline, and teamwork—skills that translate perfectly to the stage.
A drummer for over 30 years, Rob has developed a deep feel for rhythm and an instinctive ability to lock in the pocket. His mastery of the Texas shuffle and his ability to drive the band with solid, infectious grooves make him the perfect fit for channeling the legendary Frank Beard.
Whether it’s a stadium anthem or a gritty blues number, Rob brings energy, control, and that ZZ Top swagger every time he hits the skins.
